Congratulations to senior Remy Levin on becoming the first medalist in Women’s Golf history ! Levin shot a 170 (+26) over the two rounds to win the title by a stroke! She has earned the honor of being the inaugural LEC Player of the Year and a First Team All-LEC performer.

Maine Golf is offering a developmental golf league to help keep younger golfers engaged while sharpening their skills. They want to establish a STRUCTURE that includes instruction, practicing with a purpose and learning the rules and etiquette of the game of golf.

The BEHS golf season starts this coming Monday, 8/18. Players need to be at Salmon Falls and ready to go at 7am. They'll play 18-holes and be done around the noon time hour. We're looking forward to another fun season of golf. See you Monday.

When: Saturday, September 27th
Where: Province Lake Golf Course, Parsonfield, ME
Time: 8am shotgun start - registration begins at 7am

Cost: $500 per team (4 person)
* includes 18 holes,cart and a meal!

Season Update: The BEHS golf season begins on Monday, August 18th, which is just under four weeks away, so I wanted to send out a quick update.

1) Please make sure that you have registered your player online with the high school. This is a mandatory step, and students that aren't registered will not be allowed to tryout. If you miss tryouts, you have no chance of being on the team. The link to the online registration is below.
2) All players need to have a current physical on file in order to participate. This is also mandatory, and students that don't have a current physical on file will not be allowed to tryout. I have reached out to the players that need to update their physicals, so please ask your child.
3) Tryouts will be 8/18 & 8/19, with practice beginning on 8/20. The practice schedule is on the golf team's website, so please take a look at it. That first week everything begins at 7am at Salmon Falls Golf Course.
4) The golf team is collaborating with boy's basketball to do a fundraiser golf scramble on Saturday, 9/27. All players are asked to find a foursome to play in the tournament, as well as get one hole sponsor and/or donation for the raffles. All players have to be in attendance. The information and paperwork for the fundraiser are on the golf team's website.
