Why women’s flag football at Saint Joseph’s?

Because the momentum is real — and the future is bright.

Women’s flag football is growing across the country at the youth, high school, collegiate, and international levels. With NCAA championship opportunities on the horizon and flag football set to make its Olympic debut in 2028, Saint Joseph’s College is proud to help build the future of the sport in Maine.

As the first NCAA institution in Maine to sponsor women’s flag football, SJC is creating a new opportunity for high school athletes to compete, grow, and be part of something from the very beginning.

Future Monks will have the chance to build the foundation, set the standard, and define the first chapter of Saint Joseph’s women’s flag football.

The journey starts now.

Saint Joseph’s College is proud to host the 2026 MPA Baseball & Softball Class B and Class D South Regional Finals and State Championship games on June 16 and June 20.
