The SSC Panthers traveled to Swan Valley last night and took it on the chin with a 8-3 loss. The Panthers(4-3-1) were led on defense by Eli Williamson and Jayce Beem who both registered 7 steals, and by goalie Avett Stokoszynski who collected 15 saves on the night. The Panthers attack was primarily provided by Landon Nixon with 2 goals and an assist, Karter Fegan with a goal and an assist and Levi Cameron with 1 assist. The Panthers next travel to take on Clare at 7pm on Sept 9th.

The SSC Panthers hosted the Flying G’s tonight in Jack Pine Conference action, coming away with a 5-1 victory to move to 2-0-1 in conference play!

The Panthers were led offensively by two goals each from Landon Nixon and Karter Fegan, along with one goal from Levi Cameron. Tom Peistrack, Landon Nixon, Eli Barrett, and Karter Fegan each added an assist.

Defensively, the Panthers were led by Noah Begres and his game-high 11 tackles, while goalkeeper Avett Stokoszynski came up big with 15 saves on the night.

Overall, it was a pretty even game, but I was really impressed with our commitment to compete and our willingness to win so many of the 50/50 balls. Most importantly, this felt like a great program win—everyone contributed and played a role in the victory!

Proud of the way this group continues to compete and come together. Go Panthers!

The Panther XC team had a great showing at their home meet. Gavin Schwiderson took first in the varsity boys race. Blake Vallad, Christopher Spyker, Davylynn Christe and Sidney Girardin also medaled. Great effort to all! Thank you White's Canoe Livery and Campground for hosting.
