Newfield Swim and Tennis Club

Newfield Swim and Tennis Club The Newfield Swim & Tennis Club is the perfect summer retreat for you and your family. The club was established in 1962 as a private, non-profit club.

Large outdoor swimming pool, 5 har-tru tennis courts, playground, basketball courts, screened picnic area and more make Newfield Swim and Tennis Club the perfect place to relax. Children have many activities to participate in, including a competitive swim team, competitive dive team, competitive water polo team, synchronized swimming, and tennis, among others. Adults can sign up for tennis clinics

and teams, can relax in the pool, or attend our social events throughout the summer. For 52 years, Newfield’s focus has always been the same: to provide a fun, family-oriented summer experience for our members. Newfield is situated on over 7 acres in a residential neighborhood just a few miles north of downtown Stamford. The Club is governed by Club By-Laws and a member-elected Board of Directors, serving staggered 3-year terms. A full-time staff is employed for the daily operations of the club. We rely on member volunteers to make all of our programs and events run successfully.

Congrats to our seals coming in 5th place at counties! Our girls medley relay came in 1st place! We didn’t have a lot of swimmers, but everyone swam hard! Ty to our coaches, Dave and Jason, for such a fun and memorable summer. We can’t believe it is over. We have made long lasting memories! Until next summer… 🦭 🎖️

Our juniors killed it in the championships receiving 2nd place!!! Ty MSX for hosting such a fun tournament! They fought hard in their first game vs. MSX and showed such improvement and teamwork. The Waveny game was a tough one, but we are so proud of all of their dedication. We look forward to seeing what you will do next summer! 🦭 🏅

What a fun and gorgeous night at SYC! Our Seniors got to play their last game of the season! We were missing some players but glad we just had enough and appreciate everyone’s efforts! These players have done so well this season playing their hearts out and navigating coming to games instead of work. We couldn’t be any prouder of these seals. We will miss our Senior, Aryeh! Our seals have been crushing it this week! Congrats to Tyler, Brenner and Tyman - on the 3 meter, Tyler came in 5th and Tyman came in 10th! On the 1 meter, Tyler came in 10th, Brenner came in 12th and Tyman came in 13th! Congrats to Devlin as well - she came in 14th place on the 1 meter! We are so proud of all of you! Nice job! 🦭

A favorite day at Newfield is always the Parents vs Kids Waterpolo game! Our parents came in fierce this year showing their skills!
