The idea for Designing Motherhood was born out of talking to smart, educated woman. Realizing we were suffering trauma and challenges that our mothers, grandmothers even their mothers faced. That many aspects of preparing for Motherhood haven't changed in generations. Women are often terrified or don't prepare at all, no one in their circle talks about how important is to talk to your doctor to partner with them (doctor). I share this article not to frighten anyone, but to empower to prepare.
