⚠️LONG POST⚠️
Having a gym is something that many fighters would love and dream to accomplish. For the past 5 years I’ve been able to do that. We’ve had hundreds of fights, dozens of championship titles, and countless memories.
As some of you may have heard, this month, July will be the last month of operation as Estevez Muay Thai in Stamford. It definitely was not an easy decision, but one that I have fought for over a year. This does not mean we are done forever. It just means this is the end of one chapter, and the beginning of a new one.
I would love to thank Tom and Kim for all their support through the years and welcoming us with open arms. You have been instrumental to making Estevez Muay Thai what it has become. To the students, the hundreds of people that have walked in the doors throughout the years; thank you all for your dedication, hard work , and support. Thank you for all the laughs, tears, positivity, and lessons we’ve all shared. Thank you, because with out you all, there would be no Estevez Muay Thai. To all the instructors who have helped, I literally could not have done it without you. Thank you.
This is not an end to Estevez Muay Thai by any means. This is the beginning of a new chapter where the story gets bigger and better the more we continue. We will still be heavily involved in the Muay Thai scene. We still have upcoming fights at on July 30th and In Chicago August 21 so we’re will still be active.
Sunday July 25 at 12pm will be the last class. It will be our last sparring session available for all levels with some food for us to say goodbye to Stamford. All members and friends are welcome!
Thank you all with the upmost love and respect,
Omar Estevez
