Positive take from what turned out to be a extremely sad weekend for the ATV racing community. When Tricky Rick was born, Linda and I had our first dog Otis. He was our first child and Ricks big brother. Although Otis was with us for only a few years of Ricks early years, she absolutely loved and cherished every second she had with him, and he did the same. Once he passed we had a stuffed animal of him made and she has slept and cuddled with it every night, and even more so if she is sad or feeling sick. Since she could talk she told Linda and I that "OTIE' is now a dragonfly. Everytime she sees one, she gets excited and says "there is OTIE". Well this weekend we went to 508 Intl for a Quadcross New England LLC race. And apparently OTIE was there waiting for us. This guy hung out in and around our EZUP and trailer for most of the weekend. Letting Rick know that OTIE is never far from her and will always pop in when he is needed, whether she knows she needs him or not. 💙💙

Every day we watch our kids, our friends, our families go out and risk it all for a sport they love knowing the dangers.
We watch with our hearts in our throats every time the gate drops, hoping that everyone makes it back to the pits safely.
Today the entire quad community experienced a tragic loss.
We send our sincerest love and thoughts to the families of those who were effected by today's series of events at 508 Intl
