Life has a way of testing us with the lows, but those very struggles make the highs shine even brighter.

Mission Grant faced a tough Saturday, going 0-2 in pool play at the DC Fastpitch Queen of the Rock. But on Sunday, Mission Grant came out swinging. As one, the team pushed through SIX bracket games and finished as champions.

The teamwork, attitudes, and encouragement were unmatched. This achievement isn’t just about the scoreboard but about resilience, perseverance, and the power of playing as one.

We are so proud of this team of athletes for showing what it means to push through the lows, rise to the challenge, and finish stronger than ever.

🌞 While most are dreaming of summer vacation, we can’t stop thinking about how impressive the Mission Grant team was this season!

This determined young squad, made up of 2011–2012 athletes, moved up to 14U and took the division by storm. Competing against older opponents in the DC Fastpitch sanction, they powered through and wrapped up the season with an impressive 21-13-2 record. 💪🥎

What stands out the most isn’t just the wins — it’s the heart, grit, and growth this team showed every time they stepped onto the field.

Now, we turn our sights to the fall season where we will play a mix of PGF and DC Fastpitch tournaments — ready to grow together, win together, and yes, even lose together. Wherever this journey takes us next, we’re all in. The future is bright for this team of athletes. Let's go, Mission Grant!

🏆Late Post, Big Heart – Celebrating Our DC Fastpitch B/C State Championship Weekend!🥎

Mission Softball Grant headed to Tyger River for the DC Fastpitch B/C State Championships on June 7–8, facing tough competition right from the start. After challenging pool play that landed them in the Bronze bracket, this determined young team didn’t back down.

In bracket play, these athletes came out fighting—playing six games, going 5–1, and taking home the Bronze bracket championship! 🔥

We couldn’t be prouder of these athletes. Their grit, resilience, and team spirit were on full display all weekend. Way to battle, Mission!

While everyone’s gearing up for the long weekend ahead, we’re still riding high from last weekend’s action—when these fierce athletes showed out at the DC Fastpitch Bat Attitudes tournament in Spartanburg!

The team went 3-2 against some strong competition, racked up an impressive 40 runs, and brought home silver bracket runner-up honors. We couldn’t be prouder of how these girls are making their mark on their first season in 14u.

🔥 What a weekend! Mission-Grant went 4-1 in just our 3rd 14U tournament at the USA Diamond Classic Fastpitch South’s Largest Mother’s Day Bash! We battled hard and made it all the way to the Gold Bracket Championship, coming up just short in a back-and-forth 7-6 thriller vs. a tough Extreme Performance 14U squad out of Salisbury.

🏆 Led the tournament in runs scored: 45
🛡️ 2nd fewest runs allowed: 17

Proud of this team for stepping up against top competition across the Carolinas and beyond.

Next stop: the mountains for the Spring WNC State Championship, May 17–18! 🥎 Let’s go!

Mission Grant had a great showing at their first 14u tournament, finishing with a strong 3-1 record. The team kicked off the season with heart, hustle, and true sportsmanship. These athletes showed incredible teamwork and determination on the field, outscoring their opponents 34-7 with a team batting average of .426. The pitching delivered with a combined ERA of 2.33, while the team’s athleticism, aggressive base running, and positive energy set the tone all weekend.

Next up: the DC Fastpitch Spring World Series in Rock Hill, May 3–4. Let’s go, Mission Grant!
