Mia has been making great progress! Like everyone else, she started with the basics—racket grip, ready position, and clears. Since then, she’s picked up even more skills like net shots, lifts, net taps, and even how to block a smash. This week marks her third week at summer camp. The video includes her feedback from week two and some hitting clips from this week. At first, she said she didn’t know what to say, so I told her, “Just speak from the heart.” And she did—her words were so genuine and sweet, I couldn’t help but find it absolutely adorable.

Guess what? Great news for Ooi Badminton Academy students—after three months of waiting, the swinging racket practice poles are finally here, just in time for summer! Good things take time, and this one’s definitely worth the wait. Can’t wait to test out the setup later!
