Last night, some of you heard a loud bang behind our building. Then half of the building’s power went out, including the air conditioning. CenterPoint Energy began repairs at 2 AM and completed them at 6 AM. The culprit was a snake that short-circuited one of the transformers.

Unfortunately, one of the four large AC units did not return to regular service. An HVAC technician is coming tomorrow morning (Wednesday) to get us back to normal.  Thank you everyone for your patience.

Nanase, our good friend and HBC member, had a delightful performance as part of a Japanese quartet. We are all very proud of her and enjoyed the show immensely. It was a nice reminder of what amazing things we can do, especially when we work together.
