Wausau Stan Pophal pleads guilty -- exotic snowmobile auctions forthcoming:

The real victims handed over $ 14.25 million to a hollow promise. It happens. Think of Bernie Madoff and his Ponzi scheme.

Here is today's press release. Sentencing to follow, but it includes the green light to auction these high-end sleds.

As soon as the first auction date is set, I will post an extensive overview of the process, so that everyone is on the same page. There will be 4 days in the online auction for personal inspection at the Wausau location.

It with deep sorrow that I pass on that friend and ASCOA member Jerry Swanson from Hamilton Montana passed away on Sunday May 24th after a long battle with cancer.

Jerry had a dream of collecting the rarest and coolest old machines. He had Tuckers Sno Cats, Eliason Motor Toboggans, Honda White Fox along with other numerous muscle, race and rare one of a kind machines. It was truly amazing what he had found and collected.

I want to extend the deepest sympathy to his wife Annie and family.

God speed Jerry!
