Proud to be part of something bigger than the course. 💚

First Tee – Greater St. Louis was a partner at the Girls on the Run St. Louis 5K last month, the largest Girls on the Run 5K in North America, with more than 10,000 participants, families, volunteers, and community supporters gathered in downtown St. Louis.

Girls on the Run St. Louis served 3,500 girls across urban, suburban and rural communities this season, which 90% rely on scholarship support to participate. We're honored to stand alongside an organization building the same things we believe in.

Numbers tell the story.

In 2025, First Tee – Greater St. Louis reached 50,031+ young people across 115 schools and 6 program locations. 29 nationally-trained coaches and 71 volunteers showed up every session. 58 life skills classes were taught. 102 sets of clubs were put in the hands of kids who needed them.

The Golf FORE! Kids tournament on June 29th at Norwood Hills Country Club is one of the primary ways we make all of that happen. Foursomes, sponsorships, and individual spots are available now, with every dollar raised staying local.

At First Tee – Greater St. Louis, our coaches are the unsung heroes of this program. They're the mentors who ask the right question at the right time, and the adults who help kids figure out who they are beyond the scorecard.

All week, we'll be sharing stories about the impact our coaches have had on participants, families, and the broader St. Louis community.

Golf teaches kids a lot more than how to swing a club.

At First Tee, every session includes life skills: managing emotions, resolving conflicts, setting goals, and appreciating the people around them. These aren't add-ons to the program. They're the whole point.
