If you’ve ever felt that way - and believe us, most of us have - this workshop is for you. ❤️

Join us for Gym Confidence 101 at Dragonfly Fitness next Saturday — a beginner-friendly workshop designed to help women feel more comfortable and confident in a gym environment (whether you join our gym or any gym!).

We’ll walk through:
✨ equipment
✨ basic movement patterns
✨ gym etiquette
✨ how to choose weights
✨ and all the things nobody ever teaches you

Most importantly, you’ll have the chance to ask questions in a supportive, non-intimidating environment with women who probably feel a lot like you do.

This is less about “working out” and more about building confidence, reducing intimidation and helping women realize - we belong in these spaces too. 💪

Congratulations to May Member of the Month, Katie!

Coach Jenny says, "Katie has been such a dedicated and consistent member here at Dragonfly and it’s been fun to watch her continue to grow stronger and more confident over time. She was a pro at rope climbs last cycle!! She shows up with a positive attitude, works hard during every workout, and continues to make steady progress through her determination and commitment. Congratulations Katie!

Here's a little more about Katie's journey:

Why did you decide to join Dragonfly? I joined Dragonfly during a rough period - work was extremely stressful and my therapist had to go on hiatus for a little while. So to help manage my stress levels I adopted a kitten and joined the gym!

What is something that used to be intimidating at the gym but now you love it and/or how might you encourage others that might be nervous? I'd never been a gym user before because I had no idea how to use the most of the machines and found the whole thing intimidating. My first few months at Dragonfly I felt like a baby deer - wobbly and uncertain. Gradually I picked up the lingo, found a rhythm, got comfortable laughing at the goofy way my brain sends info to my body on how to move sometimes, and developed friendly relationships with other folks from my classes.

We love when y'all celebrate & share your accomplishments - big & small, inside & outside the gym. Share with us something that you are proud of from the past few weeks or months. Now I find myself in a place where I know where my skills lie, how and when to push myself, and I look forward to going to class. I now also have the courage to try new skills in other environments! I took an intro boxing class recently and I signed up to do an aerials class with Dragonfly because I liked the rope exercise from the last cycle!

Thanks y'all for being encouraging coaches and creating an atmosphere where an anxious gal like me can persevere and find her feet.
