Another Katana win! The team is stoke with this one. After a tough winter in Pensacola, the team spent the interim time between events to improve in every area and the results showed. (Along with some lucky moments)

From the first race to the final day, this one was all about pressure, patience, and small margins. Katana carried the lead into the last stretch, got pushed hard all the way by Wizard, and did just enough to close it out by a single point.

Three straight Big Red Regatta wins for Katana. A huge result against a stacked fleet, and one more reminder that consistency across the whole weekend is what wins regattas.

A light-air day in Macatawa, with a westerly breeze in the 4–7 knot range, made it a patient and technical afternoon on the water. Katana comes out of the day leading after five races on 11 points, with Wizard on 13 and Heartbreaker on 14.

Day 2 preliminary standings:

1. Katana — 1-3-3-3-1 = 11
2. Wizard — 2-1-4-2-4 = 13

Katana moves into the lead after five races, sitting on 11 points in a tight fight at the top. Wizard stays close on 13, Heartbreaker on 14, and there’s still plenty left to play for heading into the next races.

A tight scoreboard after three races with Katana and Wizard tied at the top on 7 points, and the rest of the fleet right there behind. A lot of racing still left, but a solid first day to get things started.
