The 40th annual Bommarito Audi West County Gateway Cup will end summer with a bang from September 4-7. This year’s schedule is packed with professional and amateur crit racing, family activities, b**r gardens, kids’ races, special events, and the best neighborhoods St. Louis has to offer.
The Tour de Lafayette will kick things off on day 1 under the lights with a flat, fast criterium through one of STL’s oldest and most beautiful historic districts.
Tour de Francis Park’s day 2 races have a stunning backdrop of gingerbread bungalows, stately homes, and some of the most impressive landscaping around. New this year, the Electric Movement Festival will ramp up the energy with a full-day fitness and wellness festival featuring fitness classes, local vendors, music, giveaways, and an epic dance party.
The famous Girl Della Montagna brings Italian flair and of course, “The Hill,” the highly-anticipated course with an uphill turn and downhill sprint that decides the race. The Trailnet Giro Della Lou will start the day with vibrant energy which will only mount as the Juniors and Pros fight for their spot on the podium in the series’ finales.
Finally, the day 4 Tour de Florissant will end the long weekend on a high note, with a technical course that races through the Florissant Old Town Historic District. Everyone is welcome to join in the fun at the Tour de Florissant Community Ride, and then make a positive difference by participating in Pedal in Place at the Race p/b the Davis Phinney Foundation.
