Top 5 Reasons to Build a Treehouse 🌲
I’ve built a lot of these over the years, and it’s never really about the lumber… it’s about what happens after it’s built.
Here’s why I think every kid should have one:
1. It Creates Real Memories
Not the kind on a screen—the kind they’ll talk about years from now. Sleepouts, climbing up with friends, making it their own space.
2. Gets Kids Off Electronics
No WiFi needed. Just imagination, fresh air, and a reason to go outside again.
3. Builds Confidence & Courage
Climbing, exploring, figuring things out on their own… that independence matters more than people think.
4. Encourages Creativity
A treehouse turns into whatever they want—a fort, a basecamp, a hideout, an adventure.
5. Brings the Family Together
Parents watching from the yard, helping build it, being part of it… it becomes a shared experience.
At the end of the day, you’re not just building a treehouse… you’re building something your kids will remember for the rest of their life.
That’s the real value.
