Baltimore’s Memorial Stadium was dedicated “As a memorial to all who so valiantly fought and served in the World Wars with eternal gratitude to those who made the ultimate supreme sacrifice to preserve equality and freedom throughout the world. Union Park lasted as a major league venue for a mere nine seasons, from 1891 to 1899. Known also as Oriole Park (III) and the Baltimore Baseball and Exhibition Grounds, the ballpark was home of the World Champion (1894-1896) National League Baltimore Orioles. The historical marker is located on the facade of St. Ambrose Housing Aid Center at 319 E 25th Street in Baltimore.
