We are less than 90 minutes away from the start of the Friday Night Fights Roadshow event at the Konjo Dojo Judo Club located at 6458 US Highway 61/67 in Imperial Missouri. As we head into the last month before the Senior Nationals this will be a great opportunity to kick your training into high gear to get ready for the big event. Plus, you don't want to miss this on fun and camaraderie of these events. It's really the best and most fun workout of week. The party gets started at 7:00. o'clock, and goes until the last pair quits, which is sometime around 9:00 pm. Hope to see you on the Mat!

BESSEMER - A Milwaukee man was sentenced to a lengthy prison term on drug charges in Gogebic County. 32 year old Isaac Wayne Sawyer was sentenced today in Bessemer, MI on 5 felony related drug charges following his convictions in a jury trial trial conducted on February 19, 2026. Nicholas Jacobs, Gogebic County Prosecuting Attorney handled the prosecution for the county. Sawyer was sentenced by the Hon Michael K. Pope to serve a minimum term of 15 years to a maximum of up to life in prison for possession with intent to delivery of methamphetamine, conspiracy to deliver methamphetamine, possession with intent to deliver co***ne and possession with intent to deliver he**in. The maximum term was enhanced as Sawyer was additionally charged as being a 4-time habitual offender. Sawyer also was sentenced to serve 1 year to 15 years for maintaining a drug house. Sawyer must serve the full term of 15 years before he is eligible for parole.

It's that time again Join us this Friday Feb. 27th. for the Friday Night Fights as we attempt to recreate my favorite moment from the USA vs Canada Hockey Final. When for whatever reason, two of the players decided to put on a Judo Demonstration. The mayhem gets started at 7pm, at the Kirkwood Judo Club at Finney's MMA. There we will do what we do, party like it's 1999 till 9pm, or the last pair quits. Hope to See You on the Mat.
