Not many people know Ollie has a soft side also. The first stuffed toy with a squeaker freaked Ollie out quite a bit, so he never had the heart or the appetite to destroy it. As a matter of fact, he slept with that possum and groomed it for a week. It came up um, “missing” after a year, as what it had lost its sentimental value it picked up in odor, so I had it “rehomed”. A replacement possum was ignored and still sits in the bottom of his box of misfit toys. A protest move by Ollie? Maybe his compassion has limits? We may never know.
