Upgrading your electronics pays off in more ways than one.

At Stop 3 on Lay Lake, Humminbird put up $1,000 for the highest-finishing angler utilizing the new Humminbird Xplore unit. To no one’s surprise, tournament champion Alex Davis claimed the prize, adding yet another bonus check to his haul.

We love seeing our partners reward anglers who leverage the best tech in the game. It’s just proof that there are more ways to win with the National Professional Fishing League.

“The reward of finding a fresh school of a few hundred bass is typically the best hour of fishing that you will ever have.” — Hunter Sales Fishing

Offshore season is officially here, but increased fishing pressure means these giant schools are moving faster than ever. Sales is breaking down how he targets deep-water bass in 18 to 24 feet of water, including the specific 7-inch bait he uses to “clean up” the ledge.

41 pounds, 5 ounces.

That is what it took for Scott Canterbury to win Logan Martin last September. This clutch Day 2 throwback catch and cull was pure textbook ex*****on from the champ.

Fast forward to right now, we are officially heading back to these same waters next week for Stop 4 of the 2026 season (June 25 – June 27, 2026)!

Announcing changes for the final stop of the 2026 season. 🚨

We are officially dropping trolling motors in Arkansas! Due to unforeseen logistical challenges at Lake George, the 2026 NPFL Season Finale is relocating to the waters of Lake Dardanelle in Russellville, Arkansas, from September 16–18.

The venue might have changed, but the pressure hasn’t. This is Stop 6, the final battleground that will crown our Work Sharp Angler of the Year and decide who punches their ticket to the 2027 NPFL Championship on Lake Mitchell. 🏆

Practice days: Sept 13–15 🗓️
Tournament days: Sept 16–18 🎣
