Iron Pax Challenge has started!

This week, we honor 31-year old DJ Keller of Greenwood NC through a Hero WOD in his honor. He was killed on duty on 5/11/26 after 4 years on the force. At his death, the call sign 141 was sent over the radio and then retired in his honor.

The F3 men in Greenwood sent this Hero WOD in his honor:

We celebrated the first passing of the shovel flag at Haunted Hill this past weekend. Smuggz who launched the site 2 years ago passed it off to Lois. Thirty five men (including 2 FNGs) from the Wolf PAX, St Louis, and of course NOCO showed up to support both of these guys.

We celebrated Lois today as he lead his VQ. With 16 men who came out, from 4 different regions, 2 FNGS, there was a lot of good mumblechatter. And it wasn’t without a good intense beatdown!

Introducing Mr. and Mrs. Toilet Genius 🎉

Our first Nantan of got married today. There was so much about today that was just beautiful. And one of those beautiful things was the F3 men from around the city that came to support Toilet Genius on his special day.

Over the past 3 years, TG has posted all around the Gateway region. If you know him, you know the love that pours out of him and you also know the challenges he has gone through. He loves through his vulnerabilities, he stops at nothing to encourage men wherever he posts, and that’s why men from at least 5 different regions showed up to show their love and support for him.

Once again, just a full demonstration of what it looks like to leave no man behind, but leave no man where we found him.

We adopted a road!

And this morning, the guys met up to clean the streets and do a beatdown!
While one half was cleaning one side of the street, Open Door led the other half in a beatdown.
Then they switched and Airbud led the opposite half while Open Door’s crew cleaned the opposite side of the road.

You’ll find this sign on New Florissant Road.

If you keep driving, you can join us for a beatdown at Bangert Park on Wednesday and Friday at 05:30.

Or just a bit further, you can join us at Crest Bowl on Monday at 05:30 for a good run.

NOCO Site Qs met up this week for a bit of fitness and fellowship. Because of the responsibilities of each of our sites, some of us don’t often get to post with each other. We’re thankful for our 1st F Q El Chapo for organizing and leading this and our Nantan Gandalf for coming out to support us.

Representing NoCo this morning was Headcase, Breath Control, Baby Jogger, Fob, Numb Chuck (double agent), and Smuggz.
There was a Toilet Genius spotting, but it wasn’t him 😉

BIG THANKS to all the men who organized this event, (including pivoting the location last minute), showed up early to set up, built and financed a dozen F3 friendly fitness contraptions (for lack of better word?), provided their cooking skills and equipment, lead any part of the beatdown (including COT), and even the one who sacrificed his hair to reach ‘The Covering House’ goal!

Core Principle 4: always outdoors, rain or shine, heat or sleet.

We’re so close to that season where we recognize the men around us because they’re not covered up in hats, scarfs, and coats. Until then, we continue to come out, push ourselves beyond our comfort levels, and encourage the men around us because depression and stress and anxiety doesn’t take a winter break.

If you’re in Florissant, Ferguson, Hazelwood, Bridgeton, or Beverly Hills, join us for a free men’s workout group. You’ll enjoy the fitness, but it’s the coffee and fellowship that will keep you coming back.

When a Legend at Haunted Hill and a pastor of a local church was going to have to miss a beatdown to shovel his church’s parking lot, we pivoted the beatdown location, exchanged coupons for snow shovels, and showed up to his church.

Just another example of how we ‘leave no man behind’.
