Long, hot, and wet day in Viera at the USA Elite Select Mustangs Elite Qualifier. Kids went undefeated at 12’s and 14’s.

Lost a game at 12’s due to weather and 2 games at 14’s.

The tiebreaker formula was absolutely wild 🤷🏼‍♂️🤣, but we will lace em up again tomorrow at 9:35 am at 12’s and 11:30 at 14’s.

Tryouts tomorrow for 14 National in Jacksonville, FL. We will be looking at a few kids for other ages as well, including our 14U & 12U Florida Teams!

Congratulations to this group, as Top Gun 11U FL Premier finished as the runner up in the North Florida State Championships!

The kids battled hard all day, including a dramatic come from behind walk off victory in the semifinals, where we were down 8-5 in the last inning with no time left. Clutch AB after clutch AB, until Jenna Sotomayor hit a walk off double to win it!

On the day, we had a pitching staff that flat got it done:

Nicolette was awarded the offensive MVP of the event by USSSA, while Liv Sangalang was awarded the overall MVP by the umpiring crew for her work behind the plate and her monster double in the final inning of our walk off win in the semifinals.
