We are incredibly grateful for the generosity of Lady Saints alumni, Jaime (Kafcas) Cowper! Jaime has donated $1000 as a Lady Saints Super Supporter!
After graduating from SCHS in 1998, she continued her career at St. Clair County Community College where she earned a full athletic scholarship and credits her many years of playing the sport to developing a great work ethic, discipline, and leadership skills.
One of Jaime’s favorite memories is having team dinners before big games. She loved the camaraderie and team unity. “Coach Shaw was a great coach and always knew how to get the most out of us. I will always be grateful for the lessons I learned from him about hard work and never giving up.”
Jaime attended SC4 where she earned her Associate’s Degree. She completed her B. A. from Oakland University in 2004. After college, she developed a passion for helping people achieve their financial goals while working at Fifth Third Bank as a personal banker. Working at the bank made her realize that she wanted to be able to help people achieve a wider range of financial planning goals. She then pursued a new agent training program at MassMutual Financial Group in 2005 where she remained a career agent for three years. During that time, she met her mentor and had the benefit of his knowledge and mentorship in years that followed. In 2014 Jaime formed Unity Financial Advisors. She holds her Series 65 investment license, as well as her life and health insurance license in multiple states. Jaime is certified in Long Term Care planning and holds the certificate of the National Social Security Advisors(NSSA). She prides herself on her personal service, independence, and objectivity to provide the best solutions to her clients.
Jaime Cowper is the Founder of Unity Financial Advisors and is passionate about helping people retire with peace of mind and provide protection for their families. She specializes in comprehensive retirement planning, which includes providing financial guidance and services for those nearing or in retirement. She is committed to helping clients to preserve and grow their assets for retirement, develop a reliable income plan, discuss and implement a plan for long term care, and leverage money to the next generation or charity.
Jaime is an Amazon National Best-Selling Author and has been quoted or featured in Kiplinger’s Personal Finance, Advisors Magazine, U.S. News and World, Yahoo Finance, The NY Daily News and MSN Money. She also hosts a podcast called The Long Game in Retirement that can be found on YouTube, Apple Podcasts and Spotify.
Jaime was recently featured and wrote a chapter in a book called Financial Trendsetters 1, Revolutionizing the role women play in building wealth. It is a book geared towards female empowerment and promotes the stories of women succeeding in a male-dominated industries. It is available on Amazon and proceeds go to a scholarship fund for a females in finance. Jaime also donated 13 copies to our Lady Saints program!

Jaime loves traveling and spending time with family and friends. She and her husband, Mickey, enjoy taking walks with their Jack Russell pup. They also like to stay active, hiking, golfing and downhill skiing.
