Coach Schneider is a proud St. Clair native and graduate of St. Clair High School, where she played under legendary Coach Fred Shaw. She is a dedicated educator with more than 20 years of teaching experience in the East China School District. In addition to her role as a Kindergarten teacher at Pine River Elementary, Coach Schneider has spent the past five years serving as Assistant Coach to John Fitzmaurice and, most recently, Head JV Coach for the girls’ basketball program.

These leadership experiences have strengthened her passion for the game and deepened her commitment to developing young athletes within our community. Alongside longtime Varsity Assistant Coach Eric Lohr, Coach Schneider will bring a dynamic and experienced leadership team to the program.

Coach Schneider’s vision is to empower female athletes through basketball by building leadership, communication, discipline, resilience, and teamwork to develop confident, independent young women, on and off the court. She is honored for the opportunity to continue building on the tradition and success of the program she grew up in. She looks forward to working with an incredible group of student-athletes while bringing fresh ideas and energy to an already strong foundation!

Her enthusiasm for the girls' basketball program, St. Clair High School, and her love for our hometown is unmatched! She can’t wait to get started! Go Saints!

Important message from Coach Pietrykowski:

Dear Players, Families, and the St. Clair High School Community,

It is with a heavy heart that I announce my resignation as head coach of the girls’ basketball program at St. Clair High School.

This decision has not come easily. Coaching this team has been one of the greatest honors of my life. Over the years, I have had the privilege of working with incredible young women who have shown resilience, dedication, and heart both on and off the court. Watching you grow—not just as athletes, but as individuals—has meant more to me than any scoreboard ever could.

To my players: you are the reason this program is so special. Your effort in early morning practices, your determination in tough games, and your support for one another have inspired me every single day. You’ve taught me just as much as I’ve tried to teach you, and I will carry those lessons with me forever.

To the families and community: thank you for your unwavering support. From packed gyms to quiet words of encouragement, you helped build something truly meaningful here.

While it is time for me to step away, please know this program is in a strong place because of all of you. I have no doubt that the future of St. Clair girls’ basketball will continue to shine brightly.

Though I may no longer be on the sidelines, I will always be cheering for you.

📣❤️🏀💙Three of our Lady Saints were named to the All Blue Water Area Teams in today’s Times Herald sports article. Way to go Gracie Pickelhaupt (1st Team), Sofia Russell (2nd Team) and Anna Kehoe (3rd Team)! Also, congratulations to Maliyah Smith, earning an honorable mention! ✨👏🏼🎉

First, second and third teams were recognized by the Times Herald for girls high school basketball in the Blue Water Area.
