New Edge Martial Arts

New Edge Martial Arts Adults aged 13 and above can choose from Self Defense, Hapkido, or Taekwondo/Tang Soo Do classes.

Features a Korean martial arts program as well as a self defense course that instructs students on awareness and prevention of strikes, grapples, ground techniques, and weapon attacks. New Edge Martial Arts offers courses in both martial arts and self defense for children and adults, aged 4 and above.

4-7 year olds and 8-12 year olds train in Olympic Sport/Traditional Taekwondo. Adults can also s

ign up for a complete program, enabling them access to all featured adult classes that New Edge Martial Arts has to offer. Local Law Enforcement Corrections Officers frequent the business to ensure that material covered in the self defense courses are both street-practical and legal.

We are going at full steam. All adult instructors and students report they are vaccinated. Others are catching up. We are going with the rule of no masks if fully vaccinated. For kids, vaccinated or not masks are the parent’s decision.

New students are always welcome. Come in for a class. No charge of course. No need to call ahead either.

Here’s the Summer Schedule:

6:30 - 8:00 Mondays. Sparring. All ages 7 and up who are yellow belt or higher.

5:15 - 6:00 Tuesday and Thursday. Age 4-6

6:00 - 6:55 Tuesday and Thursday Age 7 - 12

7:00- 7:55 Tuesday and Thursday 13 and up

12/3/20. New Edge remains temporarily closed during the new Covid surge. We hope to begin holding kids classes soon. Adult classes will be limited to 4 - 6 at a time to allow for more than separate space between students. Stay tuned. Current members should watch for updates on Remind.

1st Grade thru age12/13 - 6:00 pm.

Teen/Adult - 7:00 pm.

Masks required. Bring your own water bottle.

Beginners welcome to join any time. Come in for a free try-out.
