And that’s a wrap for .
Yesterday, we closed the doors at our dojo after 6.5 absolutely amazing and transformative years.
Making the decision to close a successful family business wasn’t an easy one. The relationships we have built with our students and their families are deep and special.
We know their strengths, and their weaknesses.
We have laughed with them, cheered with them, cried with them, and built an amazing space to both grow in a community as well as individually and on a spiritual level.
While we have truly enjoyed teaching and learning and growing over the years, we are ready for the next chapter in our lives. We are ready to have more time as a family to explore our other passions and hobbies and to figure out how karate will manifest itself into our next adventures.
Every single student has touched our hearts in some way and we will carry those lessons and those people with us for the rest of our lives.
Thank you to everyone in the community for your support and kindness, it has been the adventure of a lifetime!
