The Harold Scudder Golf Tournament

The Harold Scudder Golf Tournament The Scudder was created in honor of our friend Harold to show him how much we cared. It continues t

Harold Scudder was a ramp crew chief for American Airlines for over 30 years and he was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2001. His friend and co-worker Richard Pugh fulfilled his simple request to go golfing by inviting fellow co-workers and people in the community to come out for a day of golf and fun. 144 golfers and $15,000 later, The Harold Scudder Golf Tournament was born. Harold made Richard

promise to continue this tradition that bears his name and he has done so with the help of fellow AA employees. The Scudder has generated well over $300,000 over the last 17 years and given it to any DFW American Airlines employee who has been directly affected by cancer. Please share our page to spread the word, we hope to grow every year so we can help even more.

32 Honorees..$3,038 each($97,216)
