October notes from Miss Margaret:

"Hello Parents & Students,

October tuition is due this week - credit/debit card payments accepted

during this week only. Late tuition payments by cash or check only.

New students - registration fee ($10 per family) is due w October

tuition if you have not already paid it. This is a one-time-only fee,

good for as long as your child remains our student.

*Monday class schedule change* - 4:30 Level 1, 5:45 Lyrical, 6:30 Jazz,

7:15 Tap - new order starts today, October 1.

Observation of Classes - October 15 through 20 - each student may invite

two (2) guests to watch dance class. Some smaller classes may invite

more than 2 - PLEASE ASK ME ABOUT THIS BEFORE YOU BRING THE WHOLE

FAMILY. I do not want to disappoint people who come to watch but SPACE

IS EXTREMELY LIMITED.

I will be handing out recital letters during Observation Week & talking

to all about the recital & bonus classes.

There WILL BE CLASSES on Monday, October 8 (Columbus Day). If you won't

be there, please let us know.

Wednesday, October 31 - HALLOWEEN - the studio will be closed/ all

classes cancelled on this day. Not only is this the 84th birthday of our

founder, MISS KAY, but looking back at attendance records for the last

few years shows very few students showing up for class on this day. So,

attend a party or go Trick or Treating or stay home & hand out candy but

there will be no dance classes on Halloween. All Wednesday students

should attend an alternate class to make up this missed lesson.

If you know a former student who did not sign up this year due to

participation in a fall sport or cheerleading or school play/musical,

please let them know that registration is still open. I would LOVE to

have all students get started in September but many students/families

find it difficult to take dance class & participate in other activities.

Dancers with other interests are always welcome back to our studio.

Hi dancers! Hope you are ready for the 2018-2019 dance year to begin.

Here is a note from Miss Margaret:

"Parents & students, here is the schedule for September classes & a few
notes.

There are many items of clothing & shoes in our Lost&Found. Items will
be donated to Salvation Army if not picked up by September 10.

I still have several recital Dvds which were already paid for. We will
hold them until September 30.

There are still several people who haven't paid their June tuition.
Please drop it off at the studio or mail a check to PO BOX 372,
Springville, NY 14141.

There are still 4 Troll Wigs missing (2 pink, 1 green, 1 purple). We do
not want to have to send a bill for $20 (cost of each wig). Please
return to studio ASAP.

If you borrowed shoes from the studio & your child is still wearing them
or you have passed them on to someone else, great.

If they're just taking up room, please return to studio as we always
have someone who needs shoes.

If you have not registered your child with us for classes this year,
your address will be removed from our files & we won't clog your inbox
anymore.

Registraion days are coming next month, Miss Margaret has them listed here:

"Dear parents & students, I hope everyone is enjoying a good summer! It's
already time to start thinking about school & fall activities - the
studio re-opens on September 4th.

We will be sending a printed letter by regular mail outlining some new
things going on at the studio this year (multi class offerings, sport &
holiday scheduling, payment plans, etc.)

This e-mail is early notice of in-studio registration days coming next
month.

Tuesdays - August 7, 21 & 28 - 4pm to 9pm

Wednesdays - August 8, 22 & 29 - 9am to 2pm

Thursdays - August 23 & 30 - 4pm to 9pm (no registration on the 9th)

June notes from Miss Margaret:

"Parents & students,
Technical rehearsal at Springville HS tomorrow - Tuesday, June 5th - please refer to your info sheet for time schedule. Students who are missing their regular class because of this rehearsal may attend an alternate class.
June tuition is due this week. Regular dance classes at the studio June 6 through June 14. No classes on Saturday, June 16th. Students may attend an alternate class.
No regular classes Monday, June 18 through Saturday, June 23.
There will be two (2) Final Party Dance Classes & Ice Cream Socials - Tuesday, June 19 & Thursday, June 21 - 4pm to 6pm. Students should wear play clothes.
The following classes are invited to attend either party:
Monday 4:30 cowgirls / Tuesday 4:00 maracas & 4:45 adorables / Wedneday 4:30 baby take a bow & 5:00 suitcase / all Thursday & Saturday classes.
Recital Dvds - $5 - will be available for pick up on Tuesday, June 19th. Must be pre-ordered, pay when you pick it up.
The following classes are invited to attend the Pizza & Ice Cream party on Wednesday, June 20 - 5pm to 7:30pm
Monday 5:30 lyrical, 6:15 tap & 7:00 jazz / Tuesday 5:45 tap & 6:45 Irish / Wednesday 6:00 ballet, 7:00 tap & 8:00 jazz"

Congratulations to our competition teams!
We came home with two high gold scores and one gold score. So proud of all of these girls! They looked amazing!

A message from Miss Margaret:

"Dear Parents & Students,

Today through Wednesday, February 7 - FEBRUARY TUITION IS DUE.

The studio will be open for the entire month of February - regular
classes are scheduled during the Presidents' week school break. If your
child will be absent during the Presidents' week break, PLEASE LET US
KNOW IN ADVANCE. Also on the subject of calling the studio when your
child is absent: If your child's class has started & you forgot to call
the studio in advance about being absent - please don't call the studio
during their class. I already know they're absent because they aren't there.

The studio is in need of some professional contacts. For years we had a
guy, the father of a former student, who was a master plumber & we hired
him whenever we had a problem. He recently passed away & we need a new
plumber. For years we had a gal, the mother of a former student, who
printed all our recital t-shirts. She will no longer be doing shirts &
we need a new t-shirt printer. If we have anyone in our studio families
(or somehow related to our studio families) who does this kind of work,
we'd be happy to hire them. Let me know or have them contact us.

Costume balances will be distributed next week. Balances may be paid in
full or by installment. All costume balances are due by April 7.

Competition students only - competition fees will be included w/ costume
balances. All competition fees are due by April 7.
