It’s been a rough last couple of days for our local vintage snowmobile community. As many of you already know we lost Robert (Bobby) Hartloff this past week. A good friend and member of the Old Drifters club as well as President of the Cherry Creek Vintage Chapter. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family, friends and fellow vintage snowmobile enthusiasts that knew him. Bobby’s love of the sport was felt by everyone around him with his many videos and pictures that he always took and shared. He always had a smile or joke and would share his knowledge of vintage sleds! He will be forever missed! Ride those perfect trails in heaven. May you rest in peace Bobby.

Wow! What a great weekend of vintage riding here in WNY ! With the Perrysburg Diner ride yesterday put on by the Cherry Creek vintage chapter and our vintage ride from Steelbound Brewery in Springville today! We would like to thank everyone that had a hand in putting this ride on , Steelbound Brewing for hosting us, Southern Tier Snow Drifters, WNY snowmobile club of Boston, Pioneer Sno-Surfers for a great cookout and hospitality and the Old Drifters crew!

Our Steelbound Run is coming up this Sunday! Feb 8th Weather and trails will be great! Pioneer SnoSurfers Sardinia Snowmobile Club and WNY snowmobile club of Boston will be out grooming the trails flat for our old sleds and old backs! lol Plenty of parking. Dress warm! You’ll be back in plenty of time to watch ( or don’t watch ) the Super Bowl. You won’t want to miss this ride!

Unfortunately, our area did not receive as much snow as other areas. We will be canceling our upcoming ride from Woodside Rd in Springville this coming Sunday Jan 18th.
