Beth and Kari got moved into the big pasture today at Candlelight!!! Boy did they run and roll a lot before they settled down.

Well Beth is finally starting to put on some weight she’s now had a month of turn out some good grass and a second worming.
Once we get a little cooler temps we will start her back with light workouts.

Sweet Maggie was not real sure about this little fellow that is really about the same size as her.
This is Cracker a 31” Mini Stallion who has a club foot on right rear. He is a sweet boy but oh has he thrown the Candlelight herd into a tail spin. We do not generally keep ponies here and were not expecting him.

Well I decided to hop on Kasey last night about 8 PM to just see how he was feeling. We currently have all 4 shoes removed as they were obviously an issue on his feet none were the correct size and well for lack of a better way to put it we’re not properly attached and causing him some soreness.
He is healing beautifully from his cuts.

He was a little sore still on feet and a little stiff in shoulders most likely from compensating for feet. He did relax and loosen up nicely. I was only on him for a few minutes and he got a nice shower and feeding right after.

Ignore the tennis shoes and capris I was melting.

I just had to laugh at these two Kasey and Dutton were playing way too hard in this heat. They definitely had the Zoomies and a good time. They finally went down into the creek to cool off. Dutton kinda tripped over his feet and was like ooooops did y’all see that?

Well turned Kasey and Dutton out in the big pasture and boy can they run!!! I would say they were tired of Quarantine.
