We understand your frustration with certain grade levels having their registrations close early but unfortunately we cannot help with that as we no longer run the program. After much consideration and due to the health of the Executive Director, Nasson Community Center has decided to let SSYAA lead the way with Recreational Basketball moving forward. SSYAA was the organization that originally had basketball but after several years, decided to not run it anymore and Nasson picked it up so that kids would have some place to go. We are grateful that SSYAA will be running this program again and will be operating still out of the Nasson Gym. Give their page and follow and sign up today!

🏀 SSYAA Winter Basketball is back! 🏀
We’re so excited to announce that SSYAA Basketball is returning this winter at the Nasson Gym!
Program details:
• 8-week season
• Starts the week of January 5
• Ends the week of March 2 (weather pending)
• Open to PreK–8th grade
High School sessions will start the week of March 9 and run through April 27 (weather pending). High school sessions will be Saturdays only.
Jerseys are included with your sign-up cost!
We’re looking for coaches for all levels—if you’re interested, please reach out to [email protected].
Parents of 4th–8th graders: save the date for player placements on December 13! More info on times will be shared soon.
Times and schedules will be posted and shared once rosters have been set.

Because of continued damage to the building and lack of respect for adults and the facility, any child who is NOT on the basketball teams that will be playing or are NOT accompanied by adult, cannot attend the playoffs and championship game on Tuesday evening. Your child will be turned away at the door. We really hate to do this but we have to put a stop to it. The men’s bathroom today was flooded and caused a mess. We will be looking at camera footage to try and help narrow down who was in and out of the bathrooms. I’m sincerely asking if you see something , please say something.
