Looking forward to the future, next year, we will be returning 14 out of 15 players. The freshmen will have a full year of high-pressure varsity experience under their belts, the sophomores will step into upperclassmen leadership roles, and that tight-knit bond is only going to get stronger. This year, we built our foundation for next year and years to come. I can’t wait to see what a year of experience does for this team! Go Spartans🥎💙🏆!

Rookie of the Season: Kendall Petrak
This award recognizes the top-performing first-year athlete. It highlights an individual's outstanding statistics, overall impact on their team, and seamless transition to the highest level of competition.

Kendall caught every game with no complaints. She hit number 2 in our lineup! She could lay down a bunt for a hit or SAC bunt, she could hit homers and boy, could she throw people out as well! Great work Kendall!

MIP-Most Improved Player: Kenna Presley
The athlete who shows the most significant growth in skill, confidence, and game understanding from the beginning of the season to the end. It celebrates dedication, coachability, and countless hours of practice over raw talent.
The improvement that Kenna has had is all because of hard work, dedication and grit. Each & everyday, she did what needed to be done. By the end of the season, she was getting a quick jump to the balls in the outfield and catching almost everything! Great job, Kenna!

Mae is the epitome or perfect example of a teammate. She works and hustles at all times. She holds herself and others accountable. She is reliable and consistent!

A "glue girl" is an invaluable team member who quietly holds everyone together. They prioritize the team's success over personal glory, do the "dirty work" that doesn't show up in statistics, and boost overall chemistry, making everyone around them better.

Peyton’s motto is always team first. She is not afraid to speak up when needed. She takes accountability for herself. She is a great leader in so many ways! She keeps us together and humble, she is our GLUE GIRL! Great work, Peyton Collier!

Defensive MVP-Golden Glove: Ashlyn Underhill
An award recognizing the player who makes the most significant positive impact on the team's ability to prevent runs, get outs, and stop the opponent from scoring. It honors the athlete who anchors the defense through fielding excellence, hustle, and leadership.
Ashlyn played 2nd base because of her athleticism and that is where the majority of the balls would go with Morgan on the mound. Ashlyn was able to covered a ton of ground on the right side of the field, she made plays and finished with a .950 fielding percentage & was a part of 4 double plays. Great work Ashlyn!

Offensive MVP & Coach’s Award: Devan Lowe
The player who consistently drives the team's scoring, excels in batting like average and slugging, and consistently produces runs in critical game situations. This award recognizes the athlete who dominates at the plate and on the basepaths. Devan’s batting average was .414. She had 42 hits, 8 doubles, 3 homeruns, 28 RBI’s, 51 runs scored, 16 walks and she reaches on error 14 times.

Coach’s Award
A special recognition given to an athlete who embodies the core values of the program. Rather than being based strictly on statistics or batting averages, this award honors players who exhibit outstanding leadership, reliability, selflessness, and team commitment.

Devan was everyone’s hype girl, she always had something positive to say, she always knew how to lighten the situation when needed. She was a leader by example and vocally. She always played hard no matter the position and she never missed a beat. Congratulations on your awards Devan🏆!

An MVP (Most Valuable Player) is an honor awarded to the individual whose performance has the most significant, positive impact on their team's overall success. It highlights the person who provides the greatest value to their team's victories.

Morgan’s record on the mound was 18-3 with 217 strikeouts. Her batting average was .579, with 48 RBI’s, 45 runs scored & .944 fielding percentage.

Congratulations to the Springport Spartans on their 2026 season. Their overall record was 27-7. Their BIG 8 Conference Record was 11-1 which places them as Co-Champs with Bronson. They also won the Napoleon Tournament & Springport Invite!

Congratulations to our Academic All Conference players who set the tone in the classroom: Morgan Shoemaker, Devan Lowe, Lily Saylors, Ashlyn Underhill, Peyton Collier, Reese Siefert, Mae Martin, Kenna Presley, Caryana Ley, Kendall Petrak and Brooklyn Love. What a wonderful representation of the word student-athlete!
