Today is a super emotional day.
Today, we say goodbye to Youthful Expressions.
As we prepare the stage and get our dancers ready, I’m filled with so many emotions. This journey has been stressful, challenging, beautiful, and incredibly rewarding. We’ve laughed, cried, celebrated victories, and grown together as one family.
This show is different.
It’s the last time we’ll take the stage as Youthful Expressions. Yet somehow, it doesn’t feel like an ending it feels like the beginning of something new.
You’ll see many new faces today, along with some familiar faces returning to celebrate the legacy we’ve built over the last 10 years. Every dancer, every family, every teacher, and every memory has helped shape this moment.
Today, I also want to take a moment to recognize someone who played an incredible role in this journey. I will always be grateful to and celebrate Tylor Thomas, who was truly the backbone of this studio for so many years. Although he has moved on to pursue other ventures, his dedication, talent, leadership, and love for our dancers helped build the foundation of what Youthful Expressions became. I have so much respect, admiration, and love for all that he has done for YE. His impact will always be a part of our story, and I wish him nothing but continued success.
As we close this chapter, I also want to thank every dancer, parent, instructor, volunteer, supporter, and friend who believed in this vision over the last 10 years. Youthful Expressions has never just been a dance studio it has been a family, a safe place, and a home for so many.
Join us today as we celebrate a decade of dance, love, growth, resilience, and community, and as we take one final bow as Youthful Expressions before stepping into an exciting new chapter.
