These girls came out tonight and handled business, finishing a great 10U rec league season against other competitive organizations undefeated at 5-0!

And the best part? This is only a 9U team. We knew stepping into 10U would challenge them, and that was exactly the point. They’ve never been afraid of playing older girls, facing tougher competition, or being the team that has something to prove.

So proud of the way they competed, stayed aggressive, and played for each other. They’re hungry, they’re growing, and they’re proving exactly what they’re capable of every time they step on the field.

In two weeks, they trade rec ball for tournament weekends and start finding out exactly where they stack up.

They don’t need anyone to believe they’re ready. They’ll just continue to prove it. 😉

I’d bet on these 11 girls everyday.

There’s so much more to building a team than just softball. 🥹🐝💛

We work these girls HARD at practice, so sometimes you have to trade the softballs for water balloons and just let them be kids. 💦😂

These are the moments I hope they remember. The friendships, the laughs, the fun, and growing up alongside their teammates. 🥎💛

What a fun day at the All-State Games! 🥎💛

We had such a great time coaching an amazing group of girls and making memories we’ll never forget. One of the coolest parts was getting to coach against some of our own Queen City Buzz girls. It was definitely weird being on opposite sides, but it was so much fun getting to watch them compete and even see some of them shine in new positions.

A few Buzz highlights:
💥 Shevy crushed TWO home runs and made an incredible diving catch.
🏃‍♀️ Aubrey blasted an inside-the-park home run and laid out for an awesome diving catch.
🔥 Brynleigh was an absolute beast behind the plate and swung the bat really well.
👏 Lyla and Kambry both had great days at the plate.
🧤 Emily came up with a fantastic catch in the outfield.
💪 Lainey made some big defensive outs.
🐝 Nova had great hits and it was so fun watching her try a new position as catcher, she also got runner up in the base running skills competition!

Days like today are what youth sports are all about. We had an absolute blast, loved getting to coach such a talented group, and we’d do it again in a heartbeat.

So proud of every athlete who stepped on the field today and especially every single one of our buzz girls! 💛🖤

Today is one of those days we’ll never forget. 💛🖤

Some of our Buzz girls are headed to represent at the All-State Tournament, and we couldn’t be prouder of the way they’ve earned this opportunity. Watching them wear our program with pride is something special.

The best part? Our coaching staff gets to be part of the experience too. We’ll be coaching one of the All-State teams…which means, at some point today, we’ll be standing on the field coaching against some of our own Buzz girls. That’s a little bittersweet, but it’s also pretty incredible.

No matter what dugout they’re in today, they’re still our girls.

Play hard. Cheer for each other. Make new friends. Compete with class. And most importantly, have fun making memories you’ll remember for a long time.

We’re so proud of each and every one of you.

We’re so excited to officially introduce our 2026–2027 Queen City Buzz 9U roster! 🖤💛

This group is made up of hardworking, determined, and talented young athletes who have earned the opportunity to wear the Buzz jersey. While wins are always exciting, our biggest goal this season is to build confident players, great teammates, and even better young women.

To our returning players, thank you for continuing to trust us with your journey. To our new families, welcome to the Hive! We can’t wait to get to work together.

Here’s to new friendships, unforgettable memories, and a season full of growth, grit, and a whole lot of fun.
