❤️ THANK YOU FOR THE MEMORIES, BUCKEYE ❤️
After much thought and many conversations, we have made the difficult decision that 2026 was the final year of the Buckeye Reining Spectacular.
The Buckeye began in 2015, when the Schoeller, Flarida, Brant, Seaman, Nelson, Lopp & Batton families came together with an idea, a shared love for the reining community, and a vision for creating something special. None of us could have imagined then what the Buckeye would grow to mean to so many of us. It became so much more than a horse show—it became a place where families came together, friendships grew, traditions were born, and there was never a shortage of laughter. From the great horses and incredible competition to the fun-filled party nights, familiar faces, and moments shared with people who became like family, the Buckeye gave us memories and traditions that we will cherish for the rest of our lives.
We are so incredibly proud of what the Buckeye became, and even more grateful for the people who made it possible. To our exhibitors, sponsors, vendors, staff, volunteers, officials, spectators, and everyone who supported us year after year—thank you. You believed in this show, showed up for it, and helped create the atmosphere and community that made the Buckeye.
This decision did not come easily. As our families, businesses, and personal commitments continue to grow, we simply cannot give the show the time and attention it deserves while maintaining the standard we have always upheld. If we couldn’t continue to give the Buckeye our very best, we knew it was time to close this chapter on a high note.
We will forever be grateful for every person who walked through those gates, every horse that entered the arena, every sponsor who believed in us, and every memory made along the way.
The Buckeye Reining Spectacular may have come to an end, but what was created through it never will. The friendships, memories, traditions, and community will stay with us for a lifetime.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being part of the Buckeye. Thank you for believing in it, supporting it, and loving it right alongside us. It has truly been an incredible ride. ❤️
