Moto 2 went much better last night. Mad finished both motos. She did great. She had alot of disappointments and very little track time but she pushed through, rode hard and adapted quickly.

Tonight is not her night... she was doing great on the first race, for the first lap, she got taken out by p3 in supermini. Then her new bike started acting up again. We swapped her out for her old bike, she didn't have time to adapt to the clutch, and she didn't have a hole shot device so she was having a hard time reaching. She got stuck on the gate, helped her get unstuck and got her back out there just in time for her fuel line to split and dump her fuel out. Its just one of those days or weeks, or months... Ascot isn't ready to see her ride yet.

Fuel line fixed, holeshot device on, and moto 2 is coming up. She too far behind to place but hopefully she can have some redemption.

She looks damn good out there for the short time she can get some seat time in.

We got 2 of my bikes going last night, we made plans to go to Kingsville to ride today. We started our way there and decided to head to gas mx instead due to the uncertainty in the weather. Then we decided to hit night races instead at Ascot park. So we're out at Ascot for the night, hoping for a good trouble free night and to finish a race. This is our first time here!

Mad didnt race today, she went out in practice and said there's something not right with her bike. It wasn't coming into power in powerband, and made a ticking noise in powerband. Ultimately I didn't have time to tear the motor down and do a complete rebuild on this one, just a top end. I stayed up till 3am doing a rebuild on one of her other motors but just couldn't get it done and on the bike in time. We decided to sit this one out, the cost of another motor wasn't worth it. I will be working on 3 complete rebuilds next week and having her ready for the next one, with a backup bike or two.

Shes a little bummed, she was looking forward to just playing in the mud more than racing I think, its a mudder here today.

It was race weekend at HLR for the Missouri State Motocross Championship Series!

Mad was doing good and getting comfortable on her 100 (her 112 blew 2 weeks ago). Well her 100 blew in the same spot at the 112, such a wild coincidence. 2 weekends at HLR, 2 bikes down now. Thank you to the Noble family for letting her borrow a bike to race another race, sadly we arent allowed to switch bikes so she didnt get scored.

Its so frustrating to watch your kid practice, race their heart out, pour everything into a sport and get failed by the machine. Shes looking so good and improving so much, she has knocked 10 seconds of her lap times. She was feeling so confident and then the heart break of it happening again.

She had a small little break down, very understandable, but she pulled herself together and we stayed and cheered on everyone else until the last race of the day. Not the weekend we hoped for, but learning to take this with stride and she will get back at it!

Happy mothers day to mom! She did exactly what she would do every other day, being the best mom ever. We spent the day in the hotel parking lot tearing down bikes, fixing suspension and diagnosing why the new bike blew up (top end is trashed, piston and cylinder 😒). She has stepped up so much on the moto side the last few months now that dad is back traveling for work. Traveling as a single moto parent to races, swapping tires and tubes, suspension, and still being the most supportive and caring mom imaginable. Love you mom! Thanks for everything you do for us and all the other track family🥰.

Loretta's Qualifier this weekend! Mad had a great practice yesterday, she made it 3 laps in her supermini race and her bike quit. We are unsure what's wrong but thankful for all the track dads trying their best to help us getting it running (dads working, we are grateful for you!)and were offered bikes as well. We decided to just take the day and cheer on others, this weekend wasnt our weekend, but she had a blast with all the friends!
