🦅 Eagle Scout Project Completed – North Bridge Replacement! 🦅

A huge congratulations to Scout Jayden Brown from Troop 97 for the successful completion of his Eagle Scout North Bridge Replacement Project on September 25th, 2025! 👷‍♂️🌉

Thanks to Jayden’s leadership — and the hard work of his fellow Scouts, family, and volunteers — the new North Bridge is open and was able to be used for the Full Moon Trail Run 2025 presented by LRS! 🌕🚶‍♀️🏃

This new bridge not only improves safety and accessibility, but also stands as a lasting symbol of dedication, teamwork, and community pride here at Lewis Park & Trails. 🌲💪

We’re looking for a volunteer photographer to help capture the magic of our Full Moon Trail Run 2025 presented by LRS.

📅 Date: Friday, October 3rd, 2025
🕕 Time: 6–8 PM (or as long as you’re able to stay)

This is a great opportunity to:
- Build experience shooting low/no-light trail photos at night
- Connect with our incredible community of runners/walkers/supporters
- See your work featured in future Lewis Park & Trail promotions (with credit given on posts to expand your reach)

Lewis Park & Trails was a generous gift donated by Irene Lewis in 1984. In her will, she wished to provide the land to create a Christian park for the community. These forty acres represent a beautiful prairie and wooded setting for recreation, relaxation, and reflection. The park is governed by a non-profit board that oversees the maintenance and development of the park.
