Using the expertise of famed architect Raymond Hervieux of Hervieux Design, owners Brian Roach and Jesse Baker were able to bring their vision to life. From the slate covered floors to the mosaic ceiling, 180Fitgym is a visual experience unlike any other. The LED washes and color choices are reminiscent of a night club as opposed to a gym. The custom sound system, coupled with Ray’s distinctive sense of abstract imagery, create a vibrant effect. The energy in the space is electric and the hope is that this vitality will be transferred to the workout. The 10,000 square foot facility is defined by its theatrical lighting and creative design. The stimulating atmosphere is meant to inspire the senses as well as the workout. Our full cardio space contains treadmills, arc trainers, and elliptical machines. Our cardio equipment is highlighted by the 13 inch LCD monitors that sit atop every piece of equipment. Our weight room is a subtle blend of old school grit and modern chic. The weight area’s specific lighting was designed with the exhibitionist at heart. The color combinations of light and their angles create shadows and depth. As a result of our lighting approach, the weight room becomes a gallery and our mirrors become canvases for our members to admire. The lighting also highlights our three full racks of troy dumbbells, our full TRX-S frame, and our hammer strength machine circuit. Our locker rooms are elegant. Slate floors, over-sized tile showers with marble basins, over-sized corporate lockers, and soothing lighting provide a relaxed transition back to the life outside.
