!!!! Yesterday was a great day !!!!
Yesterday was our last shoot of the year out at Cross Roads Archery, We had a slow year and participation was low, but we we made it through. As the president of this great club, and a board member for the past 10+ years, We finally had some members step up and volunteer to take on the club responsibilities. I have put my heart and soul, along with a ton of hours, blood, sweat, and some tears into this great shooting club. With a great group of members stepping up to the challenge, it made it easy for me to finally step away and once again just be a member and just show up and shoot my bow. I would like to thank the great group of people that I have had the honor of serving with over the years .... Steve Roderts, Micheal Rea, Jason Cockrum, Richard Harris, Micheal Hawley, April Hawley, Josh Stevens, Trina Stevens, Jonny Eakins, Cliff Vick, Matt Townsley, Aaron Bryan, Rob Shelton, Doug and Jennifer Schatzer, and so many more. I would also like to give a huge shout out to all the shooters and amazing people I have met over the years, with out all of these people, we would not have a club to shoot at. I am proud of the group and excited to see what the new crew brings to our great club and shooting community. Thank you all for some great years and its going to be fun to just show up and shoot.

Good morning, This is Darryell Zittle, I am the president of this great club. I would like to start by saying thank you to all who have reached out and voiced your opinions. By doing so you show more interest in getting a prize, or a buckle than you do coming out and helping to make the club better or stronger. The board members are voted into position to help run the day to day, if the bottom falls out and needs fixed they do it. I have been a part of this club for a long time, and this was a really bad year for shooter participation. We will always reward those who go above and beyond everyone else, period. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING>>>> Changes were made to correct a low shooter year, MEMBERS were asked before his change was put into place, and the ones who show up helped make this decision. The shooters that QUALIFIED, and met the requirements will be given prizes and there will still be a SOY buckle given to the best QUALIFIED shooter in the class. If you feel like you need to say more or would like to discuss this situation further, please feel free to reach out to me and I will help you understand the issue at hand. Good Day Everyone. In addition to our Bowhunter Challenge and Fun Shoot this coming Saturday, we will also be holding our annual Members Meeting. This meeting will discuss club business as well as handing out Shooter of the Year buckles and prizes to qualified members. Looking forward to seeing everyone for the last shoot of the year!!!!
