Last minute details
Anyone who still has not picked up their packet can do so in the morning at the Commodities Building starting at 6:30 am.
If you registered by the shirt deadline, you have a shirt available. Any packet not picked up by race start is forfeited. Extra participant shirts will be available THEN.
PLEASE enter at Gate 8. Map attached.
Race start is 7:30 am SHARP.
If you would like to switch between 10k to 5k or 5k to 10k, you may do so in the morning by taking your bib to the timer (John) with ItsRaceTime.
There will be extra safety pins available as well.
10k participants-please NOTE, there are PINK directional markings on the ground throughout the cemetery.
Get some rest tonight and the 49th Abe’s Amble greets you in the morning!

🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ Preparing for the Abes Amble 5K/10K

As runners and walkers take to the streets for the Abes Amble 5K/10K on August 23, the Springfield Police Department will be utilizing our Drone Unit to provide an additional perspective and support event safety.

Our drone operators will be assisting with situational awareness throughout the event, helping our officers monitor the course and respond to any needs that may arise.

We look forward to seeing everyone on race day! Stay safe, have fun, and good luck to all of the participants! 👏
