LOVE LOVE LOVE getting clips and texts like this while I’m away on vacay! Shoutout to Coach Sam and Coach K filling in so I can have a week away with my fam and HUGE shoutout to these varsity girls for still putting in the work!

🏐 The varsity traveled an hour to play a club style session that again Piqua, Troy Christian, Sidney, Fairlawn , and Troy! Being the smallest team with only one sub made for a long 6 games but these 8 girls showed up and showed OUT against some of these bigger schools! So pumped for what this means for our season play! Here’s a highlight reel of the full day! Go lions! 🏐

Above all else, I’m so proud of the way the carry themselves and let the light of Christ shine through them at every opportunity. Taking time today to pray for another team with an injured athlete is the best highlight of all of them. ❤️

When we step onto the court, the pressure to perform can feel overwhelming. But that pressure only builds when our minds get trapped replaying past mistakes or stressing over future plays.

True spiritual strength means shifting our focus. As St. Gianna Molla beautifully said, “As to the past, let us entrust it to God’s mercy, the future to Divine Providence. Our task is to live holy the present moment.”

The ultimate game-changer for the Mind of a Christian Athlete is remembering our true foundation. We aren’t defined by the scoreboard, a bad set, or a missed block. We are defined by the reality that we are sons and daughters of God. When we build our house upon that unshakeable rock, we clear out the “interference” of fear and play with total freedom.

Let’s trust His providence, play fully in the present, and leave it all on the court today! 🏐🙏✨

🏐 One of my favorite (and least favorite) parts of summer is never having a “normal” roster. With girls doing summer things it can be difficult to keep a regular lineup. But it’s so fun to watch girls step into positions they don’t play and watch them thrive and learn to be flexible. Pumped to spend the summer doing this with them. Summer League Week Two is in the books 🏐

I LOVED having our Junior High girls in the gym today for camp. 20 Junior High girls WORE ME OUT today but I’m so encouraged by them and can’t wait to see them this season!! We did the same exact work and drills we did with the high schoolers and they kept up!
