We could say a lot or a little about today, but it comes down to a break in concentration. I hate it for my guys. I hate it for my whole S**G team. Everybody works really hard, they deserve better.

We’ve still got a pretty good race car and it’s got some good juju to bring over to Vegas. We can't win the championship, but we’ve got an opportunity to take home two more diamond wallys here, that's what we're trying to do.

Ever wonder what the crew is up to right before Dan Wilkerson is ready to go 340+ mph?

Hear it from Dan himself! Proud to be on board with S**G Wilkerson Racing!

As a race car team, we were very excited with today's results. We made 2 really good runs in the heat. That 3.89 is not the best run this team has ever made, but for the conditions, I'm going to say that was one of the best runs this team has ever made, if you know what I mean.

As a group of people trying to make the world better, we had a gentleman come over here and sign his mother's name in honor of her on our car and it brought him to tears. What this whole warrior project means to people is really touching and really eye-opening. I can't wait to keep doing that for the next 2.5 races. Qualified 7th.

So our first run was rather eventful for a 60 foot sq**rt. We had a miscalculation that we caught right before we ran, and Tim Wilkerson did Tim Wilkerson things and moved a lot of stuff around. As bad as it looked, we still learned something. We’re still able to recover and learn.

We were able to drag our car up there for the Q2 run, and I’ll be able to rest my little head on my pillow easy tonight because that 3.93 will get us in and that’s really all we’re after on these Friday/Saturday runs. We got to be in to win, so we’ll try and improve a little bit tomorrow. I think the conditions are there and we have about 800 friends from S**G Southwest coming, so it’ll be a good time no matter what we do! Currently 12th.
