Our Story

We are the premier provider of outdoor education in the Midwest and specialize in a variety of classes including, Basic and Advanced Survival Skills, Land Navigation, Advanced Land Navigation, Gear and Equipment for the Outdoors, Winter Hiking and Backpacking, Remote Wilderness First Aid, Women's Backpacking Clinic and Mountaineering. We are also the only certified instructor for the American Hiking Guides Association (AHGA) in the Midwest and one of the very few providers in the United States. These course include, Hiking Guide certification, Backpacking Guide certification, Winter Mountain Leader and Summer Mountain Leader.
