217-522-RAMP Skank Skates opened its doors in December of 1988 and has been providing year around access to skateboarding, BMX and inline skating. The ramps are arranged so that up to 5 areas can be skated at once, or the whole room can be skated in a single run! Private parties are available on Mondays at any time, or on any other day before 6:PM.

Skank Skates opened its doors in December of 1988 and has been promoting the art of skating in all of its various forms ever since. We have morphed into a music venue, a skateshop, a record store, a recording studio and a nonprofit whose mission is urban revitalization through art , exercise and real food. School gardens, community gardens, chickens and bees are now just as important as the stage and the ramp!
