This is why I believe in creating space for accessibility in everything I do.
I know what it’s like to not be able to afford the things you need to survive while trying to build a business that helps you survive.
I’ve struggled with marketing language that tells us we have to charge a high price and promise a big result because we need to “know our worth.” I’ve tried it. I’ve had it in my own Shop… it didn’t feel like me.
That doesn’t mean I don’t know my worth. It means I don’t think my worth and the price of something I created have to be the same thing.
My value of accessibility showed me that reaching more people at a lower price was more important than proving my value through the cost of the product.
But through the past few years, I noticed something important. My best selling products were free.
I love being generous, it’s part of my personality. When I see someone struggling, I jump first and think second. But being a business owner in 2026 is a whole other sh*tshow. I want to make money, be successful, take a vacation, breathe on the weekends, and set boundaries around work…. But most importantly I need to make money. I need to keep going. I need to provide.
I also want the things I make to be accessible to the therapists and helpers who are trying to build something sustainable while staring at their own bank account wondering how the f**k they’re supposed to afford one more thing.
**Those things don’t have to contradict each other.**
