Dayton Impact Select Baseball Organization

For the first time since 1982, Bishop Fenwick High School is headed to the State baseball OHSAA tournament in Akron, Ohio June 13-14, 2026. It was a battle! Our #1 pitcher was on the mound and we were poised for a victory. In the top of the second he felt a tightness in his forearm that took him to center field. Ty Miller came in to relieve way early.

Going into the bottom of the 7th inning we were down 3-4.

💫 On a 2-2 count, Kreke is hit by pitch to get on.
💫 On a 2-2 count, Shouse singles on a shot to left field.
💫 Barker lays down the perfect bunt and is safe at first. Bases loaded.
💫 Kauffman grounds into fielder’s choice and the third baseman gets Kreke out advancing to home.
💫 McCullough singles to left field. Shouse scores. Runners advance. Tie ballgame.
💫 Westerfield singles on a ground ball to short, Barker scores. Walk off!

Praise be to God! What a full team effort this tournament has been! Go Falcons!!!

Recognizing Dayton Impact’s first graduating class. Dayton Impact began when these boys were 10 years old and now they have graduated! We are super proud that 12 of these players are going on to play in college:

Sam Lotz from Washington Courthouse will play baseball at Tennessee Wesleyan.

Andrew Smith from Clinton Massie will play football at Mount St Joseph.

Reese Beair from Minster will play baseball at Wittenberg University.

Enzo Sansabrino from Beavercreek will play baseball at Ohio Northern.

Jacob Lichtensteiger from Columbus will play baseball at Ohio Northern.

Jacob Rhinehart from Springboro will play baseball at Ohio Northern.

Brock Bukiewicz from Beavercreek will play baseball at Francis Marion University in South Carolina.

Lincoln Hargis will play baseball at Ohio Christian University.

Landon Mullins from Beavercreek will play football at Indiana University East.

Joshua King from Legacy Christian will play baseball at Cedarville University.

TJ Brown from Springboro will play baseball at Clark State.

Caleb McMonigle from Bishop Fenwick will play college baseball and is still considering his offers.

Thank you to the Dayton Impact coaches and players who came out to cheer on Bishop Fenwick in today’s semi-regional win! The Falcons play next vs Roger Bacon at 2 pm this Thursday June 4th at the Dragons Stadium.

Fun fact: five of the six Bishop Fenwick seniors have played on Dayton Impact teams (Boyd Westerfield, Caleb McMonigle, Ty Miller, Michael Kelchner) or subbed (Jackson Kauffman) with Dayton Impact in the past. Come cheer these Seniors on in their last local game - and wear your Dayton Impact garb. The OHSAA State semi-finals and finals are at 7 17 Credit Union Park in Akron June 13th & 14th ♥️⚾️

Thinking of Dayton Impact 12u Red this week as they take on Cooperstown ⚾️ Brad Eppley’s team raised a lot of money this year to help offset their expenses and give them an experience of a lifetime. Go Impact! 🎉♥️

Brittany has been the best support the past few years with Dayton Impact and continues to be as the organizations primary administrator. She lost her dad and brother in the past two weeks. She’s a single mom of 3 children. She and her mom could really use support to give her brother a proper burial as they just did for her father last week. Please help if you can - every little bit helps - and if you pray, please pray for their family as they mourn. ❤️🙏

Today's Senior Spotlight features Josh King! Joshua will graduate from Legacy Christian Academy where he played Varsity Baseball for 4 years, earning several athletic and academic honors. Joshua will attend Cedarville University in the Fall to study Finance and be a member of the Yellow Jackets Baseball team. He plans to attend seminary after Cedarville and pursue a calling into Youth Ministry. We are proud of you, Joshua, and can't wait to see how God works in your life in the coming. years.
