Getting injured is frustrating, but it doesn’t mean your Jiu Jitsu journey has to stop.

If you need to modify a warm-up, modify it. If you need to sit out rounds, sit out rounds. Put your gi on, come to class, drill what you can, watch the techniques, take notes, and stay connected to your teammates.

Some of the best learning happens when you’re forced to slow down and pay attention.

You’re still part of the team, even when you’re not rolling. 🥋🧑🏽‍🫯‍🧑🏾

Big congrats to Professor on a dominant performance this weekend! This man has been competing in the black belt division for years now, long after most people have stopped chasing challenges.
