It is with a heavy heart that the time has come to announce the dissolution of Texas Shock 2k12. It has been an honor to watch the absolute come up of this team over the past two years. They are the definition of ✨started from the bottom now we’re here✨.
We have been blessed to have had such a large core group of girls from the beginning. Shock 2k12 was and still is truly a family! It is bittersweet to see them all now in different uniforms. Things have changed but the love has not💕
We would like to first thank our amazing group of girls for their hard work & dedication over the years. They played for each other every time their cleats touched the dirt, they had each other’s backs, they picked each other up when one was down, they lost together, and they won together. Thank you for always showing up for each other. Whatever it takes❤️❤️
To our coaches: your dedication and sacrifice never went unnoticed. We are all forever grateful for the countless hours you put in to guide these young girls both on and off the field. For the coaches who started us, and the coaches who stepped up, we are grateful. Thank you will never be enough!
To our parents: you are amazing. Thank you for allowing us to play such a huge role in your daughters lives. Thank you for the sacrifices you made as well. All the miles driven, all the tournament fees paid, all the sleepovers, all the “I got you!’s”, all the ‘it takes a village’ times to get girls to practices and games. Your dedication to this team is unsurpassed.
To our friends, families, and fans: thank you for your support over the years. We would not have been able to do what we did without you all. You have no idea how hyped our girls would get knowing they had people watching them on live & cheering them on! Thank you for all the donations to our fundraisers, for showing up to games, and for keeping our cheering section rowdy!
Thank you to all the teams we’ve played & grew close with. We appreciate the sportsmanship & competition. It has been FUN! We always would all joke about driving 2/3/4 hours from home to play the same teams over & over again, but man what a ride! We have taken major losses, and given major upsets, but the best games were always the ones where both teams were going beast mode and at any given moment it could have gone either way. We’ve all seen such young girls do such amazing things!
We wish our Shock girls the very best with their new adventures! See you around the fields!
THANK YOU FOR THE MEMORIES!🥎❤️🤍💙
