Do you have to talk yourself into exercise?
I used to be that way, too. I was a bit in denial that exercise made me feel better.
No, really.
Somehow I convinced myself that I was lazy. I'm not sure where or when it started, but I actually referred to myself as lazy, and I felt like exercise was a chore.
I had created a story for myself that wasn't true.
I'm not lazy. Nor is exercise a chore for me.
I needed to find an exercise that I actually enjoyed. I needed a reason to get up and get moving.
When I tried Pilates, I felt like I had found something new and exciting. It was challenging, different every session, and FUN.
I no longer have to talk myself into exercising. Pilates, and now Yoga, is reason enough to get my butt on my mat and move.
Maybe you wouldn't have to talk yourself into moving, either. Are you ready to try something fun?
