Parents, give your kid a break at the plate. If they are hitting .300 or .400 over a SEASON, they are doing great. Don’t react game to game judge them over a season. The added pressure isn’t helping. Goes for softball parents too.

ATTENTION BASEBALL AND SOFTBALL PARENTS AND COACHES!

The Louisville Slugger Hitting Science Center is coming to Medlar Field and Lubrano Park, home of the State College Spikes, June 3rd through 5th, 2022.

There will be a two day Diagnostic Camp for the kids on June 4th and 5th, 2022 and a free Coaches Clinic the day before on June 3rd, 2022. After the Coaches Clinic, attendees will be invited to stay for Opening Day for the State College Spikes.

Players will undergo a series of baseball/softball performance diagnostics that will include speed, strength, velocity, power, agility, mobility, and neurocognitive function to give a full portrait of the players skills and performance profile.

Worth Prospects, Central PA's premier softball program will be holding tryouts 8/3-8/5. If you are serious about softball, with aspirations to play at the next level, we may be a fit for you. We will be holding a second 12u tryout one week from today, Thursday 10/8 at 7:30. We are waiting until 7:30 to give all fall ball players enough time to play their games and still make tryouts. If you are interested in playing on one of our 12u teams, this is the last chance! If you have an unavoidable conflict, please DM us to make other arrangements.

The greatest gift to me in the game of baseball was being taught by this great man. I will be forever greatful!
