Faith Impact Taekwondo

Faith Impact Taekwondo Faith centered Taekwondo and self defense class. A chapter of Western Michigan Martial Arts Exchange St., Spring Lake, MI.

This class is from 6-8pm on Thursday at First Baptist Church of Spring Lake 118 E. Taught by Black Belts Andrew Hubbard and Scott Domont, under Master Matthew Tucker, Fourth Degree Black Belt with the Western Michigan Tae Kwon Do. It is for anybody ages 10 through adult (or 6-9 if the parent wants to take the class with them) that wants to learn Martial Arts. We put emphasize on the inward charact

er development of discipline, respect, strength, love and service as well as basics strike and block techniques, kata, self defense, and free sparring. We meditate on God's Word and pray at the beginning of every class. Optional donations are used for occasional equipment needs and betterment of the class as well as given away to serve the needs of those around us.

Hi everyone! I've been keeping the Telegram group updated, but wanted to post an update to FB as well.

The weather has cleared, so we're having class. If you don't feel your route is safe, then please don't feel obligated to come.

I (Drew) just drove from Holland to Muskegon, and had no trouble on clear roads (for what it's worth to you).

If you show up, we'll see you there. If not, see you next week (or whenever the weather allows).

All are welcome to the marker sparring and hide and go seek tomorrow! Rank doesn’matter. Wear a light colored t shirt because will use washable markers and we will take before and after pictures!

Hi everyone! We are still having class (and tests) tonight. We will plan on testing those who are ready for their test.

If you don't feel you can get to class safely, we will not be offended if you stay home. This will be the last class until January 9th.

We will have some cookies / brownies after class. 😊 Perhaps some candy cane games during calss.

Also, we have some new jiu-jitsu mats we'll plan on rolling out, so at least a few people can see what they're like.

If you're delayed because of the roads, don't worry about that either. We'd rather you show up late than end up in a ditch.

Hi guys! The roads are very slick, and the snow keeps coming down, so we are going to cancel class this evening. We will meet next week (weather permitting). Stay safe tonight! After next Thursday we will take Christmas week and New Year's week off.

Hi everyone! This is Drew. We'll go ahead with class tonight. If you don't feel safe driving to class, then please don't feel pressure to come. Please stay safe and make the best call for your family.

The roads have cleared considerably since this morning, and the radar shows the snow slowing, then stopping around 6:30'ish. Now God and the Great Lakes might make a mockery of the radar, so I'm making the call based on current information. LOL

We will probably end class a bit early (around 7:45) this evening to give everyone a little more time to get home tonight.
